In the history of ufology, the incident with the UFO crash in the mountains of Berwyn in North Wales is often called the "British Roswell".

In the evening of January 23, 1974, residents of the Welsh villages of Llanderfel and Llandrillo felt a small earthquake, and then heard a loud explosion.

At first they thought that the plane had collapsed into the mountains, but the woman who had come running up to the scene saw in the dark only a few incomprehensible red-orange lights.

Then the territory was quickly encircled by policemen and then it was reported that they found nothing. However, very quickly rumors spread that the authorities are hiding something and that in fact the alien ship fell here.

Officially it is believed that there was a real earthquake, but for 40 years, many eyewitnesses were found who reported that they saw a UFO flying in the sky before the explosion occurred.

The researcher of abnormal phenomena Nick Redfern told a few days ago that he has a story of another eyewitness and she is very unusual.

The woman's name is Anne Owann, shortly before the incident, her family bought two old cottages in Conwy County near the village of Trefry, in the same northern Wales. While they were rebuilding the house, the whole family with the children lived in the trailer.

In the evening of January 23, 1974, the family horse began to behave very excitedly and was tied to the trailer, but later it became even more restless, as if something had frightened her. The animal twitched so much that the trailer rocked.

"And then we all saw a white thing outside the window in the sky," says Anne Owanna, "It was a white ball." It was unclear at what distance it was from the ground, but it seemed to be no more than a meter in diameter.

And suddenly there was a strong explosion and the ball disappeared. We did not know what happened, but the next morning we saw that something completely ripped out the nearby rowan tree from the ground. At the same time the tree was deprived of bark and was moved about 120 meters from the place where it grew.

Then everything was even stranger. A local resident approached us, a very old lady and began to tell us that she had been awakened by a violent explosion. And when she looked out the window, she saw several little men.

At first she thought that maybe it was military, but then realized that the little men really are an unusually small growth of only about a meter in height and are dressed in all black. There were 4 or 5 of them and they did not differ from people in appearance except very small growth.

Then we learned that this old lady told me about what she saw to other residents of Treffree, but there she was considered an inventor or a sick woman and then the lady was offended and said that she would not tell anyone else.

By the way, several residents of Trefri woke up that morning and found that the windows of their houses were broken. Probably it was the consequences of the same strange explosion. "

Anne Owann said that they were visited by a group of researchers from the University of Cardiff and they photographed the torn tree, and then showed her an unusual shot, where a white cylindrical UFO was photographed next to the same tree.

However, Anne was confused, she did not see such an object and does not know who and when this picture was taken. Now it is not known what kind of photo it is.

Also, Ann was able to spot perhaps the most unusual detail of the visit of researchers from Cardiff. It seemed to her that they were perfectly aware of what had actually happened here. These were respectable men of 40-50 years, not students, but apparently professors.

The last detail of Anne's story concerned a very dense fog, the most usual one at first glance, but it was observed the day before the incident and the day after the incident. And before and after the locals have never seen anything like this. The fog appeared as if from nowhere and was incredibly dense.
